Payment of Program fees

  • All fees must be paid to and received by AGSHSS Administration in full no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled program date*.
  • Failure to pay fees within the required timeframe will result in cancellation of registration.
  • Arrangements for payment of fees at the workshop will NOT be permitted.
  • Please refer to following section regarding Ezi-Debit arrangements.

Please download the above Ezi-Debit form to enable automatic Direct Debits from your nominated bank account or credit card. Please complete the form and fax return to our office (02 4940 0404) immediately to ensure timely processing of your debit authority.

Please note the following when completing the Debit Authority:

  1. Deduction Set Up Fee: A one-off debit authority set up fee of $2.20 will be charged with your first deduction.
  2. Bank Account Transaction Fees: A transaction fee of $1.10 will be charged with each debit that is processed from a bank account. We therefore suggest fortnightly deductions rather than weekly debits to reduce Ezi-Debit admin fees. (NB: Due to the requirement of all fees being paid prior to issue of program certification we do not permit monthly/4 weekly payments.)
  3. Credit Card Transaction Fees: Debits to credit cards will be charged at the following rate per debit:
    • Visa/Mastercard/Bankcard – 2.2% of the debit amount OR $1.10 (which ever is the greater)
    • American Express/Diners Club – 4.4% of the debit amount OR $1.10(which ever is the greater)
      e.g. Visacard fortnightly debit amount = $66.67
      2.2% of $66.67 = $1.47
      Total debit will be $66.67 + $1.47 = $68.14 per fortnightly deduction
  4. Maximum Term for payment of course fees is as follows:
    • 2 x 8 hour day programs – 12 weeks (6 x fortnightly deductions)
    • 1 x 8 hour day programs – 4 weeks (2 x fortnightly deductions)
  5. Debit Day – You may choose the day of the week on which your deductions are processed. This will be determined by the date that you nominate to have your first debit deducted. For example, if you opt for fortnightly debits to commence on Monday April 3rd, your account will be debited on each Monday fortnight after your first deduction.

Confirmation

Upon receipt of your enrolment form and payment you will receive a confirmation letter from the AGSHSS acknowledging your enrolment and providing course and venue details. A Tax Invoice will also be included.

COMPETENCY & ASSESSMENT

CERTIFICATION

It is the aim of the Australian Graduate School of Health & Sport Science to develop highly competent graduates with the confidence to use their practical skills in a variety of clinical settings. All assessable programs are competency-based and qualifications are issued with levels of “Competent” or “Not Yet Competent” only. Grades, marks or percentages do not apply in competency based training courses.

ICE Program participants are required to complete a multiple choice examination based upon each workshop upon the completion of each ICE Level. Participants completing the exams on-line receive immediate results, with the opportunity to re-attempt applicable competencies if necessary. This ensures all participants reach a satisfactory level of skills and knowledge.

Upon successful completion of each ICE level and sufficient achievement of competencies, each graduate will receive a Certificate of Competency and transcript of competencies mapped to approved ANTA training packages. Upon required attendance duration to any non-accredited course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Continuing Education Credits/Units (CECs/CEUs)

To obtain the CEC or CEU points applicable to any program, students must apply directly to the relevant governing industry body.
